Update (02/Nov/09): Development for the DIG 1.1 server has stopped. All development is now focused on the OWLAPI/Protege 4 version of QuOnto. This software is now under closed beta phase. If you would like to participate in the testing, please contact the authors. The expected release date for this software is the first half of 2010.
The DIG Server for QuOnto is the implementation of DIG 1.1 and the OBDA extensions for DIG 1.1 for the QuOnto reasoner. It enabled QuOnto to expose its features through these interfaces and interact with any client implementing them, e.g., the OBDA plugin-in for Protege 3.3.1. The QuOnto reasoner is a OBDA centric reasoner that implements the description logic DL-LiteA and is able to retrieve the ABox of an ontology from data stored in RDBMS data sources by means of complex GLAV like mappings. The QuOnto reasoner is developed at “La Sapienza University of Rome (link), the DIG Server for QuOnto is developed at the Free University of Bozen Bolzano (link). The DIG server for QuOnto has now been released and is available for download here.
